Innovation Medical Institute is seeking a friendly, dependable, motivated, and compassionate  Medical Assistant / Front Desk Support Specialist to join our growing medical practice.

We are a patient-centered wellness clinic focused on providing personalized, whole-person healthcare. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a small-team environment, and can balance clinical responsibilities with administrative duties.

Exceptional attention to detail is a must. We are seeking someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and completing tasks thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
• Assist the Nurse Practitioner and Nurse with patient care and office procedures.
• Perform blood draws, specimen collection, and other clinical tasks within training and scope of practice.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies.
• Assist with wellness treatments and services as appropriately trained.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA guidelines.

Front Desk & Administrative Support

• Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional environment.
• Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Manage patient registration, intake forms, and medical records.
• Collect payments and assist with billing-related tasks.
• Coordinate patient communications and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain an organized and efficient front office.
• Assist with daily clinic operations and administrative projects.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant training.
• Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable using computers and EHR systems
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
