PRN Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic (CVT) Surgeon

Schedule: PRN - weekday or weekend call coverage (Friday 5pm-Monday 7am)Location: Arlington, VAResponsibilities *

Provide on-call, as-needed coverage for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery services at VHC, Inpatient and ER.*

Manage a limited number of inpatient cases, with a focus on post-operative care and management*

Perform both cardiac and thoracic surgeries as needed, with an emphasis on urgent or emergent procedures*

Maintain a high standard of care and quality in all patient interactions and procedures*

Work collaboratively with mid-level providers for patient care supportMinimum Requirements*

MD or DO*

Currently licensed or able to obtain the license in Virginia*

Successful completion of residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship training in Cardio or Thoracic Surgery*

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery*

Training and familiarity in the use of EPIC (EMR) preferredHOW TO APPLY?
