Contract Rn For A 13-Week Icu Assignment In Aurora, Colorado
Contract RN for a 13-week ICU assignment in Aurora, Colorado. Earn up to $2,500 per week with competitive pay and benefits. Opportunity to provide critical care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vitals, administering medications, and managing life support equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate charting in EPIC, ensuring all interactions and treatments are documented.
- Execute nursing duties in line with hospital policies, safety protocols, and state regulations, including titrating critical drips such as vasopressors and sedatives.
- Provide leadership as a charge nurse during shifts, overseeing patient care and supporting team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Thrombolytic Neurologic Care Certification (TNCC).
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
- Prior charge nurse experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience desirable.
