Overview: Federal Commercial Construction Quality Control Manager


We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager, Federal Commercial Construction , to join our team. The QCM will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and comply with all regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management and a proven history of working on federal construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities: Federal Commercial Construction Quality Control Manager

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities, inspections, and test results
• Prepare and present quality control reports to management and clients
• Train and mentor site staff on quality control procedures and best practices
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on all construction sites

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications: Federal Construction Quality Control Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• 10 years of experience in construction quality control or a similar role
• Certification in Construction Quality Management (CQM) required
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, standards, and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• US Citizenship is required for this role
• Federal commercial construction experience required
