HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their East Florida Division is seeking a Pathology Medical Director to be based at a busy 423-bed hospital in a prime location within the heart of Miami, FL. Qualified Candidates:

• AP/CP Board Certification required
• 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred
• Recent experience performing frozen sections
• Recent general surgical pathology and clinical interpretations
• Florida licensed or FCVS in place preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Pathology Volumes/Cases:

• The practice consists of three pathologists
• Case volumes: 10,000 cases per year inclusive of surgicals, cytologies and bone marrows
• No gyn-cytology or autopsy coverage
• Oversight of the labs within the Free-standing Emergency Departments associated with the hospital
