Captain / Lead Server

Le Fanfare is a cozy, neighborhood Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere.
We’re looking for an experienced Head Server / FOH Lead to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who knows restaurants, likes people, and knows how to keep a busy dining room moving. You should be comfortable taking the lead, helping your coworkers, talking to guests, and jumping in wherever you’re needed.
This is a hands-on position. We want someone who takes pride in the room, cares about the guest experience, and can keep things running smoothly even when the night gets busy.
What you’ll be doing- Lead the front-of-house team during service
- Help organize sections, side work, and opening/closing
- Manage reservations, table pacing, and the flow of the room
- Communicate with the kitchen, bar, and management
- Make sure guests feel welcome and well taken care of
- Handle guest issues with a good attitude and common sense
- Help train new servers and keep service standards high
- Use Toast POS and handhelds
- Keep an eye on checks, payments, open tabs, and tips
- Keep the dining room organized and ready for service
- Most importantly, be part of the team and help wherever help is needed
- Previous experience as a Head Server, Lead Server, or strong experienced server
- Good knowledge of how a restaurant works
- Comfortable with Toast and handheld ordering
- Organized, reliable, and good with people
- Friendly and confident with guests
- Able to stay cool when the room gets busy
- Someone who notices what needs to be done without always being asked
- Good communication and a positive attitude
- Available for evenings and weekends
$11.35/hour + tips
