Machine Operator

Responsible to perform basic operations throughout the Thermoforming department in order to form heavy gauge products within designated specification. This includes post-form trimming, grinding and assembling. Essential Duties And Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Basic operation of multi-station rotary style thermoforming machinery at a rate that meets or exceeds quality and production standards. Perform post-form trimming using handheld trimming equipment to ensure product meets designated specifications. Operate drill machine and use a handheld drill. Complete required quality checks and report any defect in a timely manner. Communicate all pertinent information at shift change. Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area. Provide relief to other members of team as necessary Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Or Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
