Regional Sales Manager- Industrial & Trades- Southern California

Job Summary Lead and direct sales representatives in the field through the sales process. Design and recommend sales and marketing programs and set short‑ and long‑term sales strategies while developing and implementing sales and customer retention programs to optimize sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Plan, forecast, and report on sales and competitive pricing activities and tactics. Pay Range: $111,500.00 – $170,300.00 per year. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operation of sales representatives, organizing them by channel, market, or product unit. Collaborate with Account Managers to engage customers, pursue new opportunities, and address escalated issues. Define the sales process, devise effective strategies to achieve desired results, identify areas for enhancement, and foster new account development. Co‑own the top, largest customers and opportunities with Account Managers. Drive deeper wallet share penetration into existing accounts. Analyze and develop reports in Salesforce to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth. Develop sales processes that drive desired outcomes and increase market share within assigned territory. Drive supplier engagement programs by providing product learning opportunities for Account Managers and guidance on sell‑through. Coach and develop direct reports, including recruiting, performance reviews, and career growth. Qualifications Based in the Greater Los Angeles/Orange County area. Demonstrated experience selling or leading teams in MRO and Janitorial/Sanitation product categories. Sales management professional with recent people‑leader experience. Ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan and manage existing customer base. Strong collaboration skills with team members, internal partners, and vendors. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Seven or more years of related experience (an advanced degree may offset less experience). May require certification. Vehicle Requirement The position requires operation of a personal vehicle approximately 60% of the work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required and must be acceptable.
