In this role you are responsible for the capture and execution of strategic business as a growth engine for Raytheon. You will be responsible for planning and execution of small to large programs through development, production and sustainment phases. The AD leads a team of program managers and is responsible for total program performance including project execution, business goals and customer relationships of all programs within the team. The AD must have the skills to manage several direct reports plus a large cross functional team, including suppliers, and interact with other Raytheon business units to successfully deliver the products for the programs. This role is onsite in Goleta, CA.What You Will DoAccountability for profit and loss, AOP development and execution, and EAC inputsDevelop and execute program growth strategiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with the customersManage cost, schedule, technical performanceLead program reviews and program development through customer engagement, supplier managementDevelop and execute contingency plans to address potential risks and maintain program schedulesProvide regular updates to program leadership and executive teams on progress, challenges, and milestonesLead proposals, negotiations, capture activitiesManage direct reports including training, performance reviews and guiding them through program challengesTravel to support the business as neededQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experienceProgram or project management experience leading development programsExperience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processesExperience supporting cross-functional teamsActive and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after startQualifications We PreferProgram Management Level 3 Certification or ability to obtain within one yearProven success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, US acquisition commands and internal peersExperience working with government customers on large, complex programs with direct customer interfaces, both internal and externalTechnical knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems and similar technologiesBasic understanding of the military operations community and logistics support structuresExperience leading capture activitiesWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
