Urgent Care Provider - FNP or PA

Are you a passionate and experienced urgent care provider looking for a new challenge? If so, we want you to join our team!

We are a fast-paced and dynamic urgent care clinic that provides high-quality and affordable medical services to our community. We are looking for an urgent care provider who can diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform minor procedures.

As an urgent care provider at our clinic, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and obtain medical histories from patients
• Diagnose and manage common urgent care conditions such as infections, injuries, allergies, asthma, etc.
• Prescribe medications and therapies according to evidence-based guidelines and protocols
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, x-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, incision and drainage, etc.
• Educate and counsel patients on health promotion and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Document patient encounters and follow up in electronic medical records
• Maintain current knowledge and skills in urgent care practice

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• A valid state license and certification as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) or physician assistant (PA)
• A current certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
• At least two years of experience as an FNP or PA in an urgent care or similar setting
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay Range: $75 to $95/hr
