About the Position

Emergency Room experience is required. Candidates must possess a valid RN license. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation (MAB, CPI, etc.) are compulsory. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Candidates must have experience in a large, urban, fast-paced Emergency Department with significant patient volume. Experience managing ventilated patients is necessary. First-time travelers will not be considered. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with Level 1 trauma experience. The role supports Patient Care Technicians and Paramedics. The position requires weekend coverage with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per contract. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. The unit sees an average of 210 visits per day. Travel experience is required. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Work history in any previous locations will be reviewed for rehire status approval.
