Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification required Must-Have: Experience in large, urban, fast-paced emergency department with significant volume Experience with ventilated patients Epic charting system experience required Level 1 trauma experience preferred Willing to float to sister locations Description: TMC orientation is held twice a month with upcoming orientation dates listed. Certified and licensed professionals will be considered for this role. A minimum of two years of ER experience is required. Candidates must have experience in a large, urban, fast-paced emergency department with a significant volume of patients. Experience with ventilated patients is a must. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Epic charting system experience is required. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. Every other weekend coverage is required, with a total of four weekend shifts during the contract. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5, handling approximately 210 visits per day. All candidates must adhere to the specified local radius requirements. Travelers with only one DUI on record, occurring more than one year ago, may be considered. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated, and previous work history must be validated for rehire status approval.
