RN Emergency Department - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7pm to 7am, working 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including infants and adults, as well as care for boarding patients in the ED. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as part of a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Caring for Emergency Department patients across all age groups.
• Managing ED holds and boarding patients.
• Participating in a collaborative team environment to ensure the best patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and active Ohio RN license.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
