Position Overview

• Emergency Medicine physician coverage in a micro hospital emergency department with inpatient beds
• Annual volume: 23,600
• Average encounters per day: 65
• Emergency department beds: 14 plus 8 inpatient beds
• EMR: Cerner
• Cross credentialing across affiliated sites within the same system is required

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Active Texas medical license in hand
• DEA with Texas address
• Texas controlled substance registration when required
• Board certification accepted: ABEM or AOBEM. ABIM or ABFM accepted with Emergency Medicine experience.
• If not Emergency Medicine boarded: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS
• Case logs for the past 2 years

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
• Temporary privileges may be available for clean files
