Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through initial interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and needs, taking into account their specific backgrounds and circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either individually or in groups, offering support and guidance to help clients develop coping strategies and achieve personal milestones.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans and therapeutic interventions as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and appropriate referrals for further support, when necessary.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Your ability to understand and respond to the unique backgrounds and cultural contexts of each client will be vital in providing effective therapy and fostering a safe space for healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience delivering culturally responsive and inclusive individual and group therapy.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications to support clinical documentation and communication.
\n
• A commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries in therapeutic relationships.

• A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and work effectively with clients from marginalized or underserved communities.
\n
• Experience with teletherapy and remote mental health services, particularly in a virtual setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
