Assistant Branch Manager

Position Title: Assistant Branch Manager Business Unit: Retail Reports to: Varies Based on Assignment Primary Office Location: 501 Fayetteville Street Suite 150, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27601. Position Overview This position is primarily responsible for consistently meeting any and all customer asks within the retail branch environment and assisting with the management of the branch and sales team. The incumbent will develop and maintain a personal referral network, execute branch leads according to consumer bank standards, perform successful execution of all customer transaction requests, and effectively convert transactions to qualified sales or referral leads. Incumbent will adhere to all FNB policies, procedures, strategies, and Core Values. Primary Responsibilities Promotes the sales process through referral management, leveraging sales leads, outbound calling, and identifying customer financial needs. Make appropriate recommendations in the selling and cross-selling of bank products and services to meet the banking needs of customers in a courteous and professional manner. Incorporate FNB digital products and services into customer interactions. Use FNB approved branch technology to input and maintain effective data quality for all referrals, customers, and applicants. Responsible for the completion and lifecycle of all new and existing relationships according to consumer bank standards. Assist with the management of daily sales activity through branch staff coaching of prescribed sales activities, assisting with pre‑shift sales huddles, and monitoring and measuring sales results. Coordinate and complete operational duties such as scheduling work, providing direction, monitoring workflow, maintaining supplies, opening and closing the office, ordering and managing vault cash, and ensuring all tasks performed adhere to current policy and procedures. Perform traditional teller transactions as needed. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Serve as a risk manager for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk encountered daily as required by FNB Corporation’s risk management program. Adhere to F.N.B. Corporation’s compliance policies, ensuring all regulatory laws and company procedures are followed. Minimum Level of Education Required High School or GED. Minimum # of Years of Job Related Experience Required 2 years. Skills Required Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills Detail‑oriented Ability to use a personal computer and job‑related software (MS Word – Basic Level, MS Excel – Intermediate Level, MS PowerPoint – Basic Level) Experience in a related position Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, consumer products and services Sales and customer service skills Licensures/Certifications Required Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred but will be required.
