Job Summary:
The nurse anesthetist specializing in Operating Room Open Heart procedures in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is responsible for providing anesthesia care for cardiac surgeries within a Level 1 Trauma environment. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. This position involves rotating shifts and various responsibilities related to cardiac and trauma patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts in rotating day, evening, and night shifts; minimum 40 hours per week (except during orientation week)
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensing as a nurse anesthetist; experience in OR open heart procedures; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; recent travel experience; experience with Cardiac Robotics, Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD), and Heart Transplant; strong skills in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Vascular, and Trauma care; Level 1 Trauma experience

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Rate will change for locals within 50 miles of the facility. Scrubs are navy blue. Offers must be responded to within 48 hours of receipt; once accepted, time off will not be altered or added.
