Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; manage hemodynamics and post-procedural recovery as appropriate.
- Support STEMI/CODE MI activations, PTCA, Diagnostic Cath, and Structural Heart interventions; assist with femoral or radial access and adjacent devices as needed.
- Administer and titrate common drips per protocol (e.g., verapamil, nitro, cardizem, norepinephrine, dopamine, levophed) and monitor for adverse effects.
- Collaborate with physicians, EP lab staff, and units across the cardiovascular program; maintain accurate EPIC documentation, case logs, and patient flow.
- Maintain procedural readiness and sterile technique; participate in equipment checks and room turnover; may float to Electrophysiology Lab or Pod D recovery as required.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- EPIC experience required
- 1+ year of cath lab nursing experience
- Ability to work in a high-volume Cath Lab setting; willingness to float to related areas as needed
