Litigation Associate

A full-service national law firm recently named among the 2026 "Best Law Firms" by Best Lawyers is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of general litigation, construction, insurance defense, or employment experience to join their growing Atlanta office.

The firm is looking for a motivated litigator with who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable handling significant case responsibility. This role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow within a firm that values entrepreneurship, teamwork, and long-term career development.

Responsibilities:

· Drafting and responding to written discovery

· Preparing pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs

· Conducting and defending depositions

· Appearing in court for hearings and conferences

· Managing matters from inception through resolution

· Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations

· Collaborating with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience in general litigation and/or insurance defense litigation

· Experience in one or more of the following areas strongly preferred:

· Employment litigation

· Multi-party litigation

· Construction defense

· Property-casualty loss matters

· Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

· Experience managing cases with increasing independence

· Admission to the Georgia Bar required
