Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications a plus
• Ability to assist in instructional activities and classroom management under the guidance of a certified teacher
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all situations
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to student and classroom needs
• Must be able to provide necessary clearances and updated documentation as required by the school

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering instruction and classroom activities
• Assist students with academic tasks, personal needs, and daily routines
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations where applicable
• Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student behavior and safety, intervening appropriately when needed
• Prepare materials, organize resources, and contribute to a positive classroom experience
