Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a paraprofessional in an educational setting near Irvington, NJ. Several paraprofessionals are needed to support students in both the ABA and LLD programs as part of the 2026 ESY Program. The roles are contract-based, offering part-time morning hours and a welcoming, collaborative environment. Key Details:
- 5 paraprofessionals needed for ABA and LLD programs
- LLD Program: July 6th – July 31st
- ABA Program: June 29th – August 7th
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Potential extension into the following school year
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional is highly valued
- Familiarity or background in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and LLD (Language and Learning Disabilities) programs preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic
- Ability to quickly adapt to diverse classroom environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and behavioral goals

- Provide direct classroom support to students and instructional staff
- Implement and reinforce individualized educational and behavioral plans
- Assist with academic activities, social skill development, and daily routines
- Foster an inclusive and positive atmosphere
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies
- Effectively collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other paraprofessionals
