Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a vibrant school community near Newark, NJ. This full-time, on-site position runs from September 4th to June 25th, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week (8:15AM–3:15PM). You’ll provide speech-language services at one central location, focusing on an elementary-age caseload. This role is designed for a licensed, experienced school-based SLP ready to make a difference for students as they grow and thrive.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current, valid SLP licensure in New Jersey
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
• Proficiency conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing direct therapy
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and deliver comprehensive SLP support
• Organized, punctual, and reliable, with dependable transportation
• Comfortable working collaboratively with school teams and district protocols
• Must be able to pass standard onboarding requirements (TB test, physical, fingerprinting for both agency and district)
• Please note: Candidates requiring clinical fellowship supervision or SLPA roles cannot be considered due to limited supervision availability

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy, evaluations, and assessments for students on caseload
• Complete documentation, progress monitoring, and participate in student meetings
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress
• Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for school-based SLPs
