Pay Rate: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Thursday | Second Shift: 2:00 PM-12:00 AM

Rewind Operator Skills & Requirements

Previous manufacturing, machine operator, printing, converting, or production experience preferred. Ability to read work orders, job tickets, and follow detailed production instructions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify print and product defects. Ability to distinguish colors accurately for quality inspections. Basic computer and data entry skills. Basic math skills, including measurements, ratios, and percentages. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks. Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills. Must be available to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed. Must complete the required Key Assessment pre-employment testing.

Rewind Operator Tasks & Job Duties

Set up and operate rewind and label inspection machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Read and interpret job tickets to ensure proper machine setup and customer specifications. Inspect printed labels for color, print quality, die cuts, perforations, and overall accuracy. Remove defects, re-splice rolls, stamp finished rolls, and prepare products for shipment. Enter production data and machine specifications into the computer system. Load finished label rolls onto equipment and monitor production quality throughout the process. Assist with cutting, collating, wrapping, packaging, and other finishing operations. Perform light machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all quality, safety, ISO, and production standards.
