We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy in Buffalo, New York. This full-time position is critical in helping patients regain mobility and function through targeted rehabilitation strategies. Our facility comprises 5,000 square feet, purposefully designed with cutting-edge sports medicine equipment to enhance patient care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional physical therapy services to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality treatment for their injuries and mobility challenges. Our team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) is committed to fostering a positive therapeutic environment that emphasizes individual patient needs and outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our modern outpatient office setting, where you will work closely with a tight-knit team of professionals. Your daily schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the unique objectives and requirements of each patient through thorough evaluations and consultations.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused and personalized care to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Utilize your expertise to implement effective, evidence-based therapies aimed at restoring patients' mobility and functional independence.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive treatment plans employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailored specifically to each patient's needs.
• Promote healthier lifestyles by crafting individualized fitness and wellness programs that foster strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively and accurately to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients to motivate and encourage them throughout their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing the overall treatment experience.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Encourage alternative, non-surgical treatment options, aiming to minimize reliance on medication where feasible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals with orthopedic concerns requiring rehabilitation after injuries or surgery. We cater to a diverse range of patients, including athletes, active adults, and seniors seeking to regain their mobility and enhance their physical capabilities. Our approach emphasizes patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual feels understood and supported in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• A clear history free of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong skills in creating and implementing exercise programs that are evidence-based and effective.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, with proficiency in WebPT being highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver individualized care rooted in evidence-based practices.
• Work experience in a collaborative healthcare environment with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage and educate patients about their treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
