The Crate Builder plays a vital role in assembling and loading crates within warehouse and manufacturing plant environments. This position requires a hands-on approach using manual, hand, and power tools to ensure crates are constructed safely and efficiently. As an integral team member, the Crate Builder contributes to the smooth operation of the production process, working with a focus on detail, safety compliance, and teamwork.

 

Responsibilities

• Assemble crates accurately following specifications
• Load crates onto transport vehicles or storage areas
• Operate manual, hand, and power tools safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work overtime or extra shifts as needed to meet deadlines

 

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or manual labor
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Commitment to safety compliance
• Proficient in handling manual, hand, and power tools
