As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Vision in Mind, you will engage in meaningful interactions with clients, providing therapy sessions, assessments, and consultations via virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy sessions to address a variety of mental health concerns among clients, utilizing telehealth platforms.

• Utilize various psychological assessments and diagnostic tools to evaluate clients’ mental health and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment goals and monitor client progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services including risk assessments for suicide and coordination of care for hospital admissions when required.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure that all aspects of a client’s care are addressed holistically.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Contribute to policy development, enhancing clinical practices and procedures in line with evidence-based care.

• Participate in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to foster professional development and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve clients within a hospice care environment. This includes providing psychological support to terminally ill patients and their families, where you'll be addressing a spectrum of emotions such as grief, fear, and anxiety. Being empathetic and insightful is essential in order to guide clients towards coping mechanisms and healthier emotional responses during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing mental health services.

• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate and work with diverse populations, applying cultural competency throughout interaction.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively connect with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly preferred, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
