Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver direct clinical services to students facing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings to identify clients’ needs and determine the appropriate level of care.
\n
• Create and implement integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services and promote communication among clients, their families, and educational staff.
\n
• Participate actively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, fostering collaboration to achieve shared objectives and enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Provide education and support to school personnel regarding mental health awareness, crisis intervention strategies, and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, organizational policies, and local, state, and federal laws related to mental health practice.
\n
• Maintain a caseload of clients, managing and documenting each individual's treatment progress and adjusting care plans as required to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in agency committees focused on service delivery improvement and quality enhancement.
\n
• Provide on-call coverage during assigned hours to address urgent mental health needs as they arise.

The primary focus of this role will be on children and adolescents within the school system who experience various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on children and adolescents.

• A valid and active LCSW certification in the state of Kansas.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working in a remote setting is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
