Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Reposition & Recovery Services in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) to join our growing team. Our S.A.F.E. Place Day Treatment Program is designed for youth ages 5–13, both boys and girls, whose lives have been impacted by substance abuse, addiction, and a variety of mental and behavioral health challenges. Services are comprehensive yet personalized to each youth's unique needs, and the program runs Monday through Friday.We're looking for a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) to join us as a Group Facilitator, providing Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) with minimal Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) delivering specific, measurable, and individualized services to each young person in our care.This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges. If you're driven by purpose and committed to recovery-focused care, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Provide direct mental health support services to individuals in accordance with individualized treatment plansAssist clients in developing coping skills, life skills, and strategies for community integrationCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, therapists, and psychiatristsDocument client progress, service delivery, and behavioral observations accurately and in a timely manner for every shift, following agency documentation guidelinesSupport mealtime and help check in on youth with medical needsCommunicate with parents and guardians, providing updates and answering questions about the programOccasionally serve as a substitute bus monitor after group sessions to supervise youth, modeling appropriate interactions and helping youth work through problems as they arise to help ensure safelyHelp maintain a clean, safe facility in line with Ohio Department of Health and agency safety standardsFollow the program schedule and participate in staff meetings and trainingSupport crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as neededFacilitate psychoeducation groups or skill-building activities for clientsMaintain compliance with all state, agency, and HIPAA regulationsRequirements:Must meet Ohio QMHS qualifications (bachelor's degree in a behavioral health-related field) or 1-3 years of equivalent experience working in mental health, behavioral health or human servicesStrong knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented practicesExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and general computer proficiencyComfortable following a structured curriculum and completing timely documentationAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative care teamCompassionate, patient, and committed to client-centered careAbout Us:Reposition & Recovery Services is a Cincinnati-based, CARF International accredited behavioral health organization dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey toward mental wellness and recovery.
