Support, Structure, and Team: The Nurse Manager Mother Baby Postpartum will report to a seasoned Director of Women’s and Children’s Services while partnering closely with the Perinatal Medical Director and the Chief Nursing Officer for strategy, growth, and quality. The Nurse Manager Mother Baby Postpartum will be supported by charge nurses, an assistant nurse manager, lactation consultants, perinatal educators, case management, social work, and unit coordinators, fostering a welcoming environment of friendly nurses and a diverse, multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, pediatric hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and allied professionals. The Nurse Manager Mother Baby Postpartum will drive staffing and scheduling excellence, mentor clinical practice, advance postpartum hemorrhage and safe-sleep bundles, strengthen HCAHPS performance, ensure accreditation readiness, steward budgets, and lead continuous improvement guided by AWHONN and ACOG standards.
