Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks as directed by providers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders.
• Facilitate patient flow to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient satisfaction, communicating effectively about wait times.
• Assist with treatments and procedures, preparing necessary supplies and ensuring proper consent is obtained.
• Administer immunizations under provider supervision, adhering to legal and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and manage referral coordination for consults and diagnostics.
• Conduct daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards.
• Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
• Engage in ongoing learning, teamwork, and contribute positively to the workplace culture.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of medical assistant duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
