** Range of pay for this position depending on experience is $26 to $29 per hour.

Accounts Payable:

Riverview has an immediate opening for accounts payable and other dealership accounting function. Applicant Works with the Controller/Office Manager to manage financial assets by monitoring accounting activities throughout the dealership and across multiple reporting systems. Riverview likes to pay our vendor partners like we want to be paid. On time and correct!!! High volume of invoice processing. Once payables is in check applicant will be learning all functions of the dealership accounting process and will look to serve as a back up to our other team members. Lots of opportunity to learn for a self starter.

Dealership Accounts Payable Job Duties:

• Assists the Controller with enforcing internal controls, monitoring accounting schedules, and helps with internal and external audits.
• Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer and vendor administrative needs upon request.
• Responsible for paying vendors on time and correctly
• Plays a key role in financial staff by training employees as directed by the Controller.
• Together with the Controller protects operations by keeping financial information, employee and owner data, payroll records, and operational plans confidential.
• Work in the business system to post invoices, post history to vehicles and reconcile vendor statements.
• Process expense reports monthly.
• Help close each month correct and complete with accurate information.

Dealership Accounts Payable Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 plus years accounting-related job experience (preferably in the truck or automotive industries), including interpreting schedules, managing assets, processing depreciation and amortization standard entries, reconciling cash accounts, creating and proofreading complex journal entries, posting accruals, processing transactions for accounts payable and receivable

• Excellent computer user skills, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook mandatory , as this job involves routine usage of complex multi-tab and codependent Excel spreadsheets, Word tables, and similar. (Those with weak PC user skills need not apply.)

• CDK Global dealership DMS experience, or other DMS experience, extremely desirable

• Yooz invoice processing experience a plus

• A patient and gentle attitude, able to coach other PC users with a positive and affirming attitude, to troubleshoot tier 1 user errors as needed, and to escalate higher issues to technical support resources. Lots of interaction with vendors and Riverview employees and customers.

• Extremely conscientious, organized, and detail-oriented personality

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

• Easily adaptable to change and unafraid to learn new and better ways to accomplish goals

• Willing and able to work 40 hour week and be reliable.
