Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. Due to the complexity of the skill sets needed for this position, Production Technician levels have been established to distinguish work performance capabilities and the degree of independence each task is to be performed.****Job Duties:*** Apply your understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies/procedures to protect the team.* Foster a shared safety culture by being safety minded; models supportive safety practices.* Work safely and conscientiously in all situations.* Identify potential maintenance needs; enter them into the work order maintenance management system (Maximo) to ensure ongoing reliability.* Perform all work in alignment with standard operating and maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety Training skills and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.* Partner with contractors, visitors, and co-workers to support compliance with company safety policies/procedures.
