About the Role:

NextNRG, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead company-wide operations and accelerate growth across our energy, EV infrastructure, and cleantech initiatives. This executive will drive operational excellence, scale emerging service lines, and strengthen our position as a leader in innovative energy solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with deep industry expertise and a passion for building highperforming teams in fastmoving environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Leadership

• Own full operational P&L and partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and longterm planning.
• Improve gross margins through process discipline, resource optimization, and utilization management.
• Implement reporting frameworks to track profitability, performance, and capacity across departments.
• Use data and analytics to drive decisionmaking and evaluate operational and marketing effectiveness.
• Provide leadership input on pricing models, backlog forecasting, and growth initiatives.

Strategic Execution & Service Expansion

• Partner with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans, including new market expansion.
• Operationalize new and evolving service offerings across digital, technology, project management, and energy solutions.
• Ensure services are scalable, profitable, and consistently delivered.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks impacting performance or reputation.

Technology, AI & Systems Enablement

• Evaluate and implement systems that enhance speed, quality, visibility, and client outcomes.
• Optimize the internal tech stack to support efficiency and scalability.

People Leadership & Organizational Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary department leaders.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management across the organization.
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure organizational structure aligns with strategy, workload, and growth.

Vendor, Partner & Client Management

• Select, negotiate, and manage thirdparty vendors and technology partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and negotiate contracts, scopes of work, and proposals.

Energy, Utility & Infrastructure Oversight

• Bring deep experience in electric utility construction and energy infrastructure.
• Oversee Microgrid, Delivery, Due Diligence, and Industrial service lines.
• Lead execution of utilityscale solar and wireless EV projects.

Operations Management

• Identify, analyze, and implement energy and efficiency projects.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Review and approve takeoffs, requirements, and preconstruction deliverables.
• Lead internal review meetings to assess risk, scope, and strategy.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure smooth project turnover.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior operations leadership in the energy sector, EV infrastructure, consultancy, construction, or similar complex service environment.
• Extensive background in energy or EV infrastructure (10+ years required).
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong financial, operational, and strategic acumen.
• Demonstrated success implementing process discipline and operational accountability.
• Experience integrating technology, data, and automation into operations.
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and client relationshipbuilding skills.
• Thrives in fastpaced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Authorized to work in US
