Volvo Cars of Austin is looking to expand our team with an additional salesperson at our Austin, Texas dealership. As a locally owned and operated dealership, we take pride in delivering exceptional service to our ever-growing customer base. Job duties of an Automotive Sales Consultant include:

• Maintaining your daily work plan of customers to create and keep good relationships with clients
• Engage with prospective customers via phone and email leads
• Using product knowledge to demonstrate features and benefits of Volvo vehicles to prospective customers
• Staying current on vehicle inventory, special promotions and incentives available to customers
• Looking for upgrade opportunities for existing sales and service customers
• Working with New, Certified and Finance Managers to ensure all necessary items are available for smooth customer transaction

 

Requirements for the Automotive Sales Consultant position:

• 3+ years New or Pre-Owned Automotive Sales experience
• Experience in BDC, service lane sales, or data mining sales
• Valid Driver’s License
• Good driving record
• Internet and Microsoft computer skills (Reynolds & Reynolds Focus CRM and AutomotiveMastermind a plus)
• Excellent communication skills
• Standing for extended periods and working outdoors are necessary at times for this position

This position is commission based and requires working a scheduled shift during the hours of Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm along with Saturdays 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (closed on Sundays plus a scheduled weekday off). Please note only applicants who meet required previous experience will be considered for this position.
