Role Description This full‑time hybrid role as a Senior Controls Technician is located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation systems and energy‑management equipment. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, performing system calibrations, addressing operational issues, and collaborating with clients to ensure optimal performance of automation systems. Additionally, the Senior Controls Technician will contribute to the design and implementation of customized solutions to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. Qualifications Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem‑solving for complex building automation systems and controls Experience in preventive maintenance to ensure consistent system operation and longevity Strong knowledge of instrumentation and calibration techniques for system optimization Solid understanding of electricity, including wiring, circuit design, and diagnostics Ability to interpret technical schematics and design documents Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members Associate degree or relevant certification in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or related fields (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Previous experience in building automation, energy management, or a related industry Knowledge of open‑source and open‑protocol automation systems is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
