Qualifications Candidates for this position must be Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certified as a Chapter 74 Instructor or certifiable and must be familiar with the newly adopted DESE CVTE related curriculum frameworks. Five years of recent (within the last seven years) full-time employment experience directly related to the construction craft laborer occupation. Candidate will work with school administration to develop and implement a Chapter 74 Construction Craft Laborers program. Candidate will collaborate with representatives from the construction community to develop curriculum to advance student learning. After program is developed, teacher will be responsible to instruct students in grades 9-12 in a construction craft laborers program. Additional content area licensure is encouraged. Licensure requirements and validity are subject to change at the discretion of DESE. An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism, and bias, and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities. Terms of Employment As negotiated with Lynn School Committee and Lynn Teachers Union. 180 days per year. Teacher Salary Estimator.
