We support our employees to live their best life and to be happy and prosperous, with these benefits:Full company-paid medical (PPO), dental, and vision for employees and dependentsAnnual discretionary bonus13 paid holidaysProfit-sharing plan for retirementChildcare assistance programAccess to certain health services that may be limited in your stateDr. Bronner's product discountsEducation Investment InitiativeBring Your Dog to Work programFree daily vegan lunchesGreen Team and ToastmastersVanpool ProgramEmployee Giving Program*Please note that benefits are offered to eligible employees and are subject to specific terms and conditions.Starting Wage$40.11 hourlyLocationOn-site position in Vista, CA.Schedule5:00 AM -1:40 PM Monday through Friday with overtime during the week and on weekendsResponsibilities:Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repair of interior and exterior building/property, building systems, and facilities equipment.Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, mechanical, structural, fire protection, and other related systems supporting utilities for production equipment and building.General maintenance which may include, but is not limited to, carpentry, plastering, painting, drywall, roofing, flooring, landscaping, masonry, welding, framing. etc.Help with moving heavy equipment/machinery and office relocations.Work independently to perform preventative maintenance following written schedules and procedures.Help troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions, while minimizing production downtime.Assist with pulling wire.Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommend tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase.Define training and preventive maintenance programs to optimize and maintain equipment.Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.Complete maintenance work orders and projects as assigned and in a timely manner.Conduct general upkeep tasks of buildings, as assigned (e.g., landscaping, painting, carpentry, masonry, drywall, framing, concrete, doors, locks, windows, etc.)Drive vehicles to Dr. Bronner buildings for various repair tickets.Other duties as assigned within job scope.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, general construction, or facility operations.2 years of experience in industrial and/or the construction industryBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.)Ability to use scissor lift, forklift, pallet jacks and articulating boom lift.Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver's license including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Company's insurance carrier standards.We understand that not all candidates will meet every qualification and encourage all interested candidates to apply.Any combination of education and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration for this position.Dr. Bronner's is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
