Manufacturer's Representative Sales Manager

Brief Description The Manufacturer's Representative Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team's activities and strategies to increase the company's revenue. Key Responsibilities Recruitment, Selection, and Onboarding of Reps- Evaluate existing Rep Network
- Provide product training, enable technical knowledge transfer, provide sales tools and educate on company processes.
- Provide ongoing technical training on products, applications, specifications, and competitive advantages
- Offer field support, such as joint customer visits, technical assistance during complex sales cycles, or coordination with internal engineering/application support teams.
- Set clear sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and results
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with reps to foster loyalty and priority focus on the company's products
- Facilitate regular communication
- Develop and implement strategies to grow sales through the rep network, including territory planning, target account strategies, and market penetration initiatives.
- Support major deals by providing technical expertise, pricing guidance, and direct involvement in negotiations.
- Collect insights from the field on customer requirements, emerging applications, competitive threats, and industry trends-critical in technical markets where products evolve quickly.
- Manage contracts, commissions, and payments accurately and on time to maintain rep satisfaction.
