Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 40 hours per week | Weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements apply

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies including cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans, averaging approximately 12 studies per day
• Operate Siemens Symbia T6 imaging equipment and utilize Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS software systems
• Perform IV starts as required for patient preparation and radiotracer administration
• Float between two campus locations approximately 16 minutes apart as needed to support departmental coverage
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage including weekends and holidays
• Complete department-specific orientation and adhere to established imaging protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
• Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with IV starts
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Siemens Symbia imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS, or NMIS systems
• Experience in a high-volume nuclear medicine department
