The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

Lufkin, Texas is located in East Texas and offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including Ellen Trout Zoo, home to over 700 animals representing more than 120 species, and the Texas Forestry Museum, one of the largest of its kind in the United States. The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site community-based emergency department in Lufkin, Texas. Shift times are as follows: Monday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM; Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 1:00 AM; Friday through Sunday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
