The Capital Solutions Group operates at the fulcrum of the convergence of public and private markets, combining the #1 global advisory franchise, a leading origination business, and an investing platform deploying capital across liquid and alternative asset classes.The Leveraged Finance group originates, structures, advises, and executes bank loan and high yield bond financings for corporate clients and financial sponsors, including LBOs, refinancings, M&A transactions, and restructurings. The group serves as an intermediary between debt capital markets and issuing clients.Key Responsibilities:- Lead day-to-day execution of private debt / direct lending leveraged finance transactions- Coordinate across internal product groups (M&A, Sponsors, ECM, Risk, Legal, Goldman's Credit Partners) and external counterparties- Lead financial modeling, credit analysis, valuation, diligence, and structuring for complex leveraged financings- Prepare and deliver high-quality internal underwriting and syndication materials- Serve as primary point of contact for private equity sponsors, private credit funds, and corporate management teams- Support senior bankers in originating new private debt and leveraged finance opportunities- Manage, mentor, and review the work of Associates on the teamThe role requires demonstrated commercial judgment in identifying financing solutions aligned with client objectives and market conditions.Apply for this Position
