What You’ll Do

• Originate, structure and lead the execution of IG debt transactions in coordination with senior originators
• Prepare market updates, pricing and client pitch material
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of debt markets, FIG sector financing activity and client developments
• Effectively communicate pertinent market and business information to clients and colleagues
• Build and manage client relationships through active client dialogue (phone, writing, meetings) to understand and meet their needs
• Engage with colleagues across DCM, syndicate, sales, trading and banking to identify themes and opportunities relevant to client coverage

How You’ll Lead

• Develop and cultivate strong client relationships
• Work collaboratively with other parts of the bank to offer multiple products and solutions to clients
• Identify issues, gaps and process improvements through open communication both internally and with other bank areas, and through the monitoring of productivity against benchmarks
• Ensure that bank policies and guidelines applicable to the division are complied with to ensure that risk is appropriately mitigated

Skills You’ll Need

• Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, product and market knowledge
• Strong technical and academic background
• Relevant experience (Debt Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Credit Markets preferable)
• Strong interest in career progression within Debt Capital Markets
• Experience in market trend interpretation

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• A strategic thinker with the ability to understand broad business issues, their potential implications and to make sound business recommendations
• Dynamic, agile, highly motivated. Able to navigate, adapt and thrive in a constantly changing/evolving global bank
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg

Expectations

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $225,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
