Nontenure Faculty Pool – Department of Physical Therapy Position Title: Nontenure Faculty Pool – Department of Physical Therapy Job Posting Number: 2027009NTL Location: College of Health Professions, Department of Physical Therapy, Round Rock, TX Position Overview: The Physical Therapy Department seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental needs. Successful candidates will teach at the Round Rock, TX campus for the fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2027 semesters. Applicants will be available for consideration if a need arises. Responsibilities Teach assigned courses, prepare and deliver course materials, evaluate student performance, and participate in faculty meetings and departmental activities as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of a DPT or an MS in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience. Terminal degree.
