Job Opportunities at Texas State University Nontenure Faculty Pool – Respiratory Care Position Title: Nontenure Faculty Pool – Respiratory Care Job Posting Number: 2027003NTL Job Location: College of Health Professions – Department of Respiratory Care Position Description: The College of Health Professions seeks to build a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty teaching positions in the Department of Respiratory Care. Temporary/nontenured faculty will be appointed to teach courses each semester based on student demand. Eligibility for reappointment depends on completion of mandatory training modules, satisfactory performance evaluations, successful funding continuation, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the Round Rock campuses, in hospitals, or online, depending on department needs. This posting covers the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters; applicants are considered for a pool position and may be selected when a need arises. Positions are subject to availability of funds. Required Qualifications Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.
