Director of Operations

Provide guidance and strategic direction for operating the international office in Panama Oversee management of business operations in the Panama office Define and optimize workflow processes for communication and coordination between US-based and Panama-based teams Build and enact policies and procedures for work completed in the Panama office Serve as senior leader for the Panama Office and align local operations with strategic initiatives Identify opportunities and propose solutions Coordinate Service Delivery Practice needs with operations Support Associate Managers and cross-functional Operations, Service Delivery, and Sales teams Partner with Practice Leads and stakeholders on resourcing, deadlines, and client satisfaction Represent A-LIGN Panama at career fairs, conferences, networking events, speaking engagements, boards, and groups Promote culture building and employee engagement initiatives Coordinate and oversee office administrative duties and operational efficiency Provide oversight of communication and partnership between US-based and Panama-based Service Delivery teams Guide hiring of Panama resources Measure results against standards and make necessary changes Partner with HR to maintain office policies Manage office budget, contracts, and vendor/service-provider price negotiations Coach and guide office staff Assign and monitor clerical and administrative responsibilities Requirements Bachelor's degree Degree in business administration or a related field required 8–10 years of experience coordinating and working with an international organization within Panama IT Security and Compliance management background preferred Thorough understanding of project management and project management tools Experience monitoring and reporting key metrics and status updates for larger-scale projects Ability to meet deadlines with high motivation Ability to effectively manage projects Ability to lead and mentor others Excellent communication skills Ability to work individually and collaboratively Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership in managing international operations, with a focus on optimizing workflow processes and ensuring effective communication between teams.
