Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (18:30-07:00) | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiac stepdown unit with a significant cardiovascular patient population
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as needed
• Complete onsite orientation modules as required prior to beginning patient care assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state (pending NM/Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification preferred
• 2 or more years of PCU/stepdown or cardiac nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
