Overview This role supports skilled nursing facilities by helping them navigate the State of South Dakota Medicaid application process to ensure timely and effective submissions, reducing large account receivable delays while applicants are pending approval for Medicaid. Responsibilities Guide facilities through the SD Medicaid application process to ensure timely submissions. Coordinate with applicants and facilities to gather required documentation and monitor submission status. Collaborate with state processes to minimize delays and optimize outcomes for Medicaid eligibility determinations. Qualifications Experience working for the State of South Dakota with the State Medicaid application process for skilled nursing facilities is required. Work Arrangement Remote work with occasional site visits during the year.
