JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that clean energy initiatives are effectively translated into scalable, high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into detailed functional requirements that enable the successful design, development, and implementation of technology solutions.
This role partners closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and quality assurance teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, define acceptance criteria, and support testing and implementation activities.
The ideal candidate serves as the team's primary source of requirements and business knowledge, ensuring solutions are aligned with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and public service commission expectations while supporting efficient and effective delivery.




Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of program enhancements.
Facilitate user requirement workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and QA teams to guide solutions from concept through deployment.
Analyze and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Organize and prioritize user stories for Agile development sprints.
Support testing efforts by creating test plans, writing test scripts, and logging defects.
Prepare system documentation, including process flows, customer journey maps, and business process models.
Conduct user research, experience mapping, wireframing, and usability testing to inform product design.
Apply critical thinking to diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
Field, investigate, and resolve administrative requests and defect tickets submitted by internal stakeholders.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools to support evolving program needs.




Qualifications:
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
Ability to facilitate meetings and decompose complex business processes.
Proficiency in creating business process documentation and workflows.
Self-starter with the ability to learn new systems and technologies independently.







TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have



Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Strong people skills with the ability to build consensus in high-pressure situations.



Proven ability to create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and manage requirements for complex data products.

Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience designing, managing, analyzing, testing, or improving software systems.



Experience working in fast-paced, changing environments.



Experience working within a Scrum/Agile framework.



Ability to organize work using a software ticketing system (preferred: Azure DevOps; experience with JIRA or similar tools acceptable).



Proven experience as a Business Analyst.



Experience creating and analyzing Salesforce and/or PowerBI reports.



Self-sufficient individual who works collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.



Ability to summarize technical concepts and clearly communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.



Strong facilitation skills with the ability to decompose complex busProficiency in creating business process documentation and workflow artifacts.
