Litigation Legal Practice Assistant — San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) Compensation: $84,000–$120,000, plus discretionary performance bonus and full benefits (healthcare, life insurance, HSA/FSA, wellbeing programs) Schedule: Hybrid — 3 days on-site in San Francisco; 37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm (non-exempt; occasional overtime as needed) A leading national law firm with a premier technology and life sciences practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Practice Assistant for its San Francisco office. This role supports assigned litigation attorneys and paralegals with high-volume, high-quality administrative and legal support in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. What you'll do: Manage the full litigation document lifecycle — case setup (civil coversheet, summons and complaint, corporate disclosure, answers), service coordination via process servers, and court filings Handle State, Federal, and Appellate ECF filings (sealed and public), with strong command of court rules, local rules, PACER, and calendaring Prepare and troubleshoot Tables of Contents and Authorities (Best Authority); maintain Bluebook and state citation accuracy Support trial prep and logistics (motions in limine, jury instructions), including travel for trial as needed Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and internal files in iManage/Propel; process check requests, invoices, and reimbursements Convert, bookmark, redact, and OCR documents; assist with timekeeping and billing review as needed What you'll bring: 5+ years supporting litigation attorneys/paralegals (litigation experience required) Independent e-filing experience across federal and state courts Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Best Authority, iManage, Aderant, PACER/PacerPro, Compulaw, Lexis, and Westlaw Sharp attention to detail, strong prioritization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a secretarial team Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience/certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing
