Litigation Legal Practice Assistant A leading law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Practice Assistant for its San Francisco, CA office. This hybrid role (three days on-site, with additional in-office days possible based on business needs) provides secretarial and administrative support to assigned litigation attorneys and paralegals, with an emphasis on high-quality, error-free work product and exceptional client service. Responsibilities span the full litigation support lifecycle: initiating case document setup, preparing and serving pleadings, coordinating process servers, and handling state, federal, and appellate ECF filings in line with court and local rules. The role also covers trial preparation logistics, legal research using court resources and Westlaw/Lexis-Nexis, generating Tables of Contents and Authorities, managing attorney calendars, converting and redacting documents, and general administrative tasks such as check requests and time entry. Additional duties may include reviewing monthly bills and supporting collections.
